Privacy notice
What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do.
Rise Together 2026 is convened by The Purple Movement. This notice explains how the information you share on this website is used. Last updated 20 October 2026.
Who is responsible
The Purple Movement, the convener of Rise Together 2026, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact: +91 99957 10101.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into our two forms.
- Expression of interest: your name, email address, participant category and areas of interest (required); organisation, designation, phone or WhatsApp number and a short note (optional).
- Build Together contributions: the contribution you describe (title, description, what you can offer, what you need, preferred collaborators, scope and timeframe) and your name, organisation, role, email and optional phone.
- Technical records: the time of submission and a hashed form of your IP address, kept briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. If anonymous, cookie-free page statistics are enabled, they do not identify you.
Why we use it
- To acknowledge your submission and give you a reference number.
- To review expressions of interest and confirm attendance, which is not automatic.
- To review contributions, identify possible connections between challenges and capabilities, and contact you about a potential collaboration or pilot.
- To send you event-related updates, if you consented to be contacted.
- To keep the forms safe from spam and abuse.
Consent and your choices
Submitting a form with the consent box ticked is your consent to be contacted about Rise Together and related collaborations. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; we will stop contacting you and, if you ask, delete your records.
What stays private
Submissions are never published automatically. Contributions are visible only to the coordinating team, who use them to connect people and shape pilots. Nothing you submit appears on this website unless you have separately agreed to it. We do not sell or share your information with advertisers.
When a contribution leads to an introduction, we share only what is needed with the specific people or institutions involved, and we tell you first.
Who processes it for us
The website runs on managed hosting; records are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase, Mumbai region) and acknowledgement emails are sent through a transactional email service (Resend). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
How long we keep it
Expressions of interest and contributions are kept for up to 24 months after the event so that pilots can be followed up at 30, 90 and 180 days and reported on. After that, contact details are deleted or anonymised. Rate-limiting records are deleted within 24 hours.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and as a matter of our own practice, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Write to +91 99957 10101. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Forms are validated and transmitted over HTTPS. Records are accessible only to authenticated coordinators with a defined role. Secrets are never stored in the website’s code.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the date above is updated and the consent version recorded with new submissions changes with it.
